Sushi Mokai is an oriental food franchise famous with customers for having collectible delivery bags. To celebrate the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 and cheer for Brazil, they called me to illustrate the delivery packaging collection to be used in all franchises in this season. Our idea was to show the Brazilian spirit in the collection through storytelling.
The color palette should merge the traditional colors of the Brazilian cheering with the colors of Mokai's branding, bringing recognition from the public at the same time as a super vivid and striking identity for the collection.
Sushi Mokai é uma franquia de comida oriental famosa entre os clientes por ter sacolas de entrega colecionáveis. Para comemorar a Copa do Mundo da FIFA Qatar 2022 e torcer pelo Brasil, eles me chamaram para ilustrar a coleção de embalagens de delivery a ser usada em todas as franquias nesta época. Nossa ideia foi mostrar o espírito brasileiro por meio do storytelling nas embalagens.
A paleta de cores deveria mesclar as cores tradicionais da torcida brasileira com as cores do branding da Mokai, trazendo assim um reconhecimento do público ao mesmo tempo uma identidade super viva e marcante para a coleção.
In the delivery bag, we made concept art about Brazilians arriving for the World Cup final match at Qatar. Following the chosen timeline, on the packaging we show a goal from Brazil divided into the lids of the packaging, which complete each other when used together.
On the inside of the packaging, we decided to pay tribute to the outstanding characters of the Brazilian fans, such as "Canarinho Pistola", "The Mr.Gaúcho", etc.
Nossa ideia foi mostrar o espírito brasileiro na coleção a partir de um storytelling. Na sacola, fizemos uma arte conceitual sobre os brasileiros chegando para uma partida de futebol. Seguindo a timeline escolhida, nas embalagens trouxemos um gol do Brasil dividido nas tampas das embalagens, que se completam quando usadas juntas.
Já na parte interna das embalagens, resolvemos fazer uma homenagem aos personagens marcantes da torcida brasileira, como o Canarinho Pistola, o Gaúcho, etc.
