The Elephant Sanctuary Brazil is a non-profit organization aiming to provide a safe and healthy home for elephants rescued from circuses and zoos around the world. The sanctuary is located in Chapada dos Guimarães, in the state of Mato Grosso, and is the first and only elephant sanctuary in Latin America.
Recently, Elephant Sanctuary Brazil launched a new collection of products to raise funds for the care of rescued elephants from circuses and zoos worldwide. As a freelance illustrator, I was invited to contribute to the project by creating modern and cheerful illustrations to be printed on t-shirts, mugs, and other items in the collection. It was a rewarding experience to collaborate with such a noble cause and see my work being used to support the sanctuary and its majestic residents.
